From a local locksmith shop to a leading manufacturer.
The beginnings (1973)
In 1973, in a small 70 m² family workshop in Los Cánovas (Fuente Álamo, Murcia), what is today Silos Musos was born. The main activity was traditional locksmithing.
Growth (1974-1980)
In just one year the workshop became too small and operations moved to a 150 m² building. We started manufacturing farming tools and agricultural and livestock machinery.
From 1980 we specialised in feed and grain silos — a decision that defined the company's future. The premises grew to 800 m².
Consolidation (1985-1997)
In 1985 we acquired 24,000 m² of land in Fuente Álamo and set up our transport department. In 1989 we opened the current premises, with 5,000 m² of covered area.
In 1997 Trans Musos was born — our international refrigerated transport arm operating from the same base.
R&D and future (2002-today)
In 2002 we signed an agreement with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) to collaborate on innovation projects. Today we are a team of around 30 people, exporting worldwide.
